The new sedan Geely Binrui Cool Champion Edition is officially presented in China.
The 2024 Geely Binrui Cool sedan debuted in China in a new version of the Champion Edition.
This version of the car features mostly a slightly redesigned body and more exterior tints.
Technically and in terms of equipment, the sedan remained the same. At the same time, it still surpasses the Toyota Corolla in terms of this indicator, and costs a little less than 1.2 million rubles at home in terms of the exchange rate.
The dimensions of the sedan are 4710x1795x1455 mm (photo: Geely). The distance between the wheel axles it reaches 2670 mm.
Under the hood of the Chinese model is a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine that produces up to 181 hp. and 290 N * m.
In combination with a 7-speed manual transmission, the engine consumes an average of up to 5.9 liters of fuel.
The Chinese model is equipped with an abundance of sensors, including tire pressure monitoring.
It offers a valet parking, adaptive cruise, keyless entry and engine start, an improved multimedia system with a 12.3-inch touchscreen and support for voice commands, an electronic stabilization system, an electric sunroof and more.
All versions of the model also have a virtual tidy (10.25 inches), a multimedia system with a 12.3-inch touchscreen, climate control and cruise control (it is adaptive for the top sedan).
The most expensive Geely Binrui Cool still has heated front seats, air curtains, auto-braking and lane keeping systems.
The technique is the same: the sedan is equipped with a 1.5 petrol turbo four with a capacity of 181 hp. (290 Nm), which is paired with a seven-speed robotic gearbox with two clutches. The drive is exclusively front.
Geely announced a version called the Champion Edition for its Binrui Cool sedan at the end of July, and now the price has been announced in China and sales have started.
Recall that the four-door has been in operation since 2018, it is based on the BMA platform, on which the Geely Coolray crossover, well known to Russians, is also built (at home it is Binyue).
Last year, the sedan underwent a radical restyling — it was then that he acquired the prefix Cool (“cool” in English).
